Battlefield 6's shooting mechanics suck!

Now don't get me wrong, I love Battlefield and have been playing the game since Battlefield 1942. But lately I've been playing more Call of Duty, and the reason for that is just as the title of this article states...Battlefield's shooting mechanics suck, and it has nothing to do with my game playing skills because I've slain my fair share of enemy players in past incarnations of Battlefield! I will add that the Bad Company games remain the cream of the crop by the way, but this shooting mechanic issue began in Battlefield 2042, and continues now in Battlefield 6. Simply put, when players go through entire multiplayer sessions shooting their weapons like crazy without a single shot hitting their mark, there's a problem.
The main shooting issue in Battlefield 6 multiplayer stems from a combination of weapon bloom/spread and buggy mechanics, leading to missed shots even with accurate targeting, particularly during movement or sustained fire. Players have reported inconsistent accuracy, shots deviating wildly, and a "max spread" bug triggered by sliding. Some players have also encountered technical glitches, such as unresponsive or constantly firing weapons, especially on controllers, which some have temporarily resolved by adjusting trigger deadzone settings.

I've listed the issues I've experienced below, but note that my list isn't all inclusive as there might be more issues that I personally have not encountered...yet!
Common shooting issues
Inconsistent accuracy: Shots may miss even when the crosshairs are aimed at the target, especially during full-auto firing and movement.
Bloom and Spread: The game employs bloom to reduce the accuracy of full-auto fire over long distances. This issue is further exacerbated by bugs, such as a shortened slide during movement, which can lead to maximum spread.
Technical glitches:
"Can't shoot" bug: Only the first mouse button and or controller trigger click registers, and no additional shots are fired afterward.
"Won't stop shooting" bug: The weapon keeps firing automatically until the mouse button and or controller trigger is clicked once more, even when it shouldn't.
Aim assist issues: This bug on controllers can be activated by either aim assist or trigger deadzone settings.

I know that EA is aware of the problem and will eventually address it with a patch, but considering this has been an issue since Battlefield 2042, there's no telling when that will happen. In the meantime, I'm playing Call of Duty, more specifically Black Ops 6 and 7, where the shooting mechanics are Teflon!
