Fable Delayed to February 2027!

Despite showcasing 30 minutes of gorgeous, fully in‑engine gameplay, Playground Games has officially pushed Fable out of its 2026 window and into February 2027.

The studio says the extra time is needed to hit the level of polish and world‑building ambition fans expect from a modern Fable revival. With the scale they’re aiming for — branching choices, reactive storytelling, and that signature Albion charm — the delay feels like a move to slow the proverbial release stick rather than rush the return of a legendary franchise.

My take? A longer wait, sure… but if what they showed us at the Xbox Games Showcase is any indication, we’re in for something special when Fable finally arrives in 2027.
